Zions Bank Not Working
Is anyone else out there having an issue with MoneyWell and Zions Bank's OFX? I get the 15510 error - "There was a problem with your online session..." I've contact Zions, and their IT department is looking into the issue. They issued a temporary user ID and password to me, and said they have no record of those credentials being used to attempt to connect to their servers, which means its a MoneyWell issue. They did, however, mention that MoneyWell listed all the Zions Bank OFX info correctly. I'm running MoneyWell v1.4.8. I'm at a loss. Anyone got any ideas, or is this something for the developers?

P.S. I have seen this message, which said that a similar issue with someone else was to be resolved in v1.4.2...http://www.mail-archive.com/no-thirst-software@googlegroups.com/msg01144.html.

I was never successful, and just gave up. I like Moneywell, but I just
didn't have the time to try and get it working. Maybe I'll have some time
soon, to try and get it working again. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Todd,
As a response to the previous post, I worked tirelessly with Zions Bank to get MoneyWell working, only to discover at the end of it all that the problem wasn't with MoneyWell, but with outdated technology on Zions' end. After discovering that, although MoneyWell was working, I was so fed up that I left the bank and am now at America First Credit Union.
While switching financial institutions may not be your first choice, it is an alternative you ought to consider. My experience with Zions Bank was great (for the most part) on the service side, but poor to mediocre on the technology side. That was the reason I switched.
Hope that helps. :)
Best Regards,

Well, Darren was out of the office, but I was able to speak with another support person that emailed Darren about the problem. He said all they had to do was authorize PFM registration. We tried that several times and still couldn't get it to work.
I really don't want to switch banks at this point... Does anybody have Zions Bank working with the latest version of MoneyWell?

To figure out if this problem is related to MoneyWell or ZIons Bank, I decided to download a trial version of Moneydance. I noticed that somebody using that software was having a similar problem, so I made sure to download the latest version, where some OFX changes were made (Added support for CLIENTUID tags that uniquely identify the OFX client installation). I then called Zions Bank and had them authorize PFM registration again. I tried MoneyWell and received the 15510 error. I then tried Moneydance and it was able to connect fine using the same credentials. This leads me to believe there is a problem with MoneyWell.
Not sure where to go from here...

Todd: I'll review our support for the CLIENTUID tag in MoneyWell and make sure it's up to snuff. Thanks.

Kevin -- have you had a chance to review?

Not yet Todd. Sorry, this is still on my list though.

Todd: Please download our latest 1.5.3 release candidate and let me know if it fixes this issue with Zions Bank.

I called Zions and had them reauthorize pfm registration.
Now I'm getting [400] ERROR There was a problem accessing the URL for this financial institution.

Todd: Please start a new private discussion and attach your ofxlog.txt file using the Choose File button on this website. You can find the log file in your home folder (the one with your name) under the Library/Application Support/MoneyWell folder.
I'll take a look at it. Make sure that you have tried to connect to Zions by using File > New Account please.
