Subject: Forecasted Net Income
Could there be an option to view the net income (the difference between income and expenses)?
Secondly, could the spending plan be used in order to forecast income/expenses a year or more into the future?

Hi Timothy: I have a few things planned to help with forecasting but I'm very cautious about this process because most people don't include all the small transactions in their forecast and that can give them a false sense of security that money is abundant.
There are graphs and other visuals in the works.

Another graph I would like to see in future would be a cash flow/net worth graph...
Thanks for all your hard work!

Would it be helpful to you if someone (like me) wrote an instruction manual? Is there a specific reason you have not invested in more robust instructions? Is it that you think people won't read them anyway? Then perhaps more tutorials. I have worked very hard to learn this software...and still have a ways to go. I don't think the "step-by-step" tutorials are as self explanatory as you may think. I certainly understand not wanting to do a call center and opting for online help instead, but perhaps investing in more written/video instruction would reduce the resources required for online assistance and would quickly pay off?

Hi Colleen: Part of the problem is that we have been redesigning MoneyWell and that makes most documentation incorrect.
Thank you for the offer but I think we are on track for more complete documentation with the 1.5 release.
